On 17 Aug 18, the X Collective (XCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of SMRT Commercial, won three awards at The Spark Awards for Media Excellence 2018:
- Gold Award: Best App/Portal/Website by a Media Owner (WINK+ App)
- Bronze Award: Best Commercial/Acquisition Team
- Bronze Award: Best Creative Team
XCO’s award-winning app, WINK+, bagged the Gold Award for Best App/Portal/Website by a Media Owner award for the night. Once again, WINK+ is recognised for excellence in mobile marketing and capabilities in elevating brand proposition and subscription for brands, clients and consumers.
Winning the Best Commercial/Acquisition Team (Bronze Award) reaffirms XCO’s effectiveness in client engagement, building trusted partnerships and continually bringing innovation and value to advertisers’ campaigns.
The XCO Creative Team was lauded as the Best Creative Team (Bronze Award) for developing outstanding advertising and marketing solutions across media platforms. The team’s recent work – the tongue-in-cheek #XCOinfluencer brand campaign – was executed across XCO’s digital OOH network including transit spaces, outdoor digital screens, buses, mobile trucks as well as digital and social media platforms.
Organised by Marketing Magazine, The Spark Awards for Media Excellence is a regional premier awards that celebrates the best media solutions, products and services in the industry. Judges include regional senior executives in the marketing and advertising.
WINK+ app is free, and can be downloaded from the Apple App store or Google Play. Commuters and motorists can earn points and convert them into rewards to shop and dine at participating WINK+ retailers and merchants when they drive, ride and scan WINK+ QR codes found in the SMRT transport network.
